How long can I wear the Readimask Strapless N95 Mask?

It’s unique design and superior air flow make ReadMask N95 respirators easier to breathe through and cooler to wear than traditional N95s. As such, there is no definitive time limit for how long a ReadiMask can be worn. Anecdotal evidence from medical personnel has shown that the ReadiMask can be worn up to 12 hours and still remain cool and comfortable. Individual experiences may vary depending on a variety of factors (e.g. skin condition, ambient temperature, physical exertion, etc.).

Is the adhesive safe for my skin?

Yes, the ReadiMask hypoallergenic medical adhesive is skin-friendly and designed to maintain a secure yet comfortable seal without irritation.

How do I choose between Small (N1901S) and Large (N1901L)?

The Large size serves as a medium/large and fits most adults. The Small size is designed for people with smaller faces and/or children. If you are unsure of which size to choose, it is better to select the Large size as you will still get a great seal. You’ll just have a bit more material below your chin.

Can I reuse the mask after removal?

Regarding reuse and care, as long as the CDC EUA regarding reuse is in effect, N95 respirators may be reused when following proper sanitation protocols. The adhesive on our N1901 Yellow Series ReadiMask is a multi-use acrylic adhesive, which allows the ReadiMask to be re-applied 2-3 times on average, depending on skin condition. Per the ReadiMask Instruction Sheet, always perform a seal check every time you don a ReadiMask.

When removing or re-applying a ReadiMask, take care not to touch your eyes or nose and immediately wash/sanitise your hands.
To store your ReadiMask between uses, place it in a porous paper bag (adhesive side facing up) for 3-5 days before re-using it.

It’s up to each organisation and/or individual to determine whether re-use is appropriate and what sanitation protocols will work best for them.

Is this mask suitable for workplace environments?

Absolutely. Its NIOSH approval makes it a reliable choice for occupational settings that require N95-level protection.

Do ReadiMasks have an expiry date?

No, ReadiMasks do not have an expiration date as this is not required by NIOSH. Extensive age testing has shown that the ReadiMask filter material performs at N95 specifications for a minimum of 10 years
