These are very well made, snug-fitting masks that feel like they offer excellent protection. I find them better than all others I’ve tried at preventing my glasses from steaming up – presumably because there is a better seal around the nose. The only downsides are: 1) much more of a faff getting on and off than masks with ear loops (I will still choose those for quick trips into shops etc); 2) straps don’t stay in place very well if I move my head around much – this may be an issue with long hair, which I know is supposed to be tied back before donning these masks, but again, this makes them much less easy to wear than others.

I’m immunocompromised and these have stopped me getting Covid or indeed any other airborne virus, even in situations where I’ve been in close contact with scores of unmasked people. Can’t always get a good seal that doesn’t steam up my glasses, but almost always can. Tip: to avoid the straps breaking, gently stretch them in sections before putting the mask on, and when removing, make sure the tension on the strap is nowhere near the staples. Don’t be afraid to press hard to mould the nose-bridge foam & wire strip; get a proper fitting seal. Everyone should be wearing these if they can, and I recommend this specific mask to everyone whose face they will fit.

Fits well even on a smaller face. It is possible to adjust the nosepiece sufficiently to not fog glasses, which is a minor miracle! The 3M quality of filter is some of the best. The one place the quality falls is the elastic – I’ve had a couple of masks where one of the elastic bands snapped after only an hour and a bit of wear.
